Watch the many intriguing ways that Lucas Zanotto presents eyes

Lucas Zanotto is a man of many talents – he designs, animates and directs from the Finnish capital, Helsinki, not to mention he speaks German, Italian, English and Spanish. He also created the children’s app Yatatoy.

In his latest series of whimsical installations, Lucas explores different ways to present the human eye, with impeccable craftsmanship and a nonsensical tone.

“A series of installations I’ve had on my mind for a while, finally came to life,” he explains. Take a look.

He’s put them together in a delightful video with the help of sound design from David Kamp. See eyeballs spinning around, reading, and of course, eye rolling against various different backdrops, even crying water at one point.

Lucas has a wide portfolio of intriguing videos, such as creating the world’s smallest cup of coffee made out of one bean for Paulig, or making a cake with drones for Telia’s 4G network in Norway.

With his Yatatoy app, you can build animation loops and sequences, create animals with different combinations or draw your own.
